Thursday, October 15th (5 Weeks) Soda Firing Class

This is a 6 week course that will start on Thursday, October 15th and go to November 12th. Class time will be 6pm - 8pm. Payment is due in full before the start of class. There are 10 spots available.

We will have a combination of wheel and hand building throughout the course of 6 weeks. Discussion will include forms for soda firing, applying slips/underglazes, and prep. On the 11th of November, we will take the day to load during the day in Goshen, IN at Justin Rothshank's home studio. The kiln will be fired the day following from 7am - 3pm. Work will be picked up and brought back to the studio where they will be ready for pick up. 

This soda firing will be low temperature using Standard #308 clay fired to cone 3.
