September 4th Wheel Throwing: Wednesday Nights

This class will explore the introduction to wheel throwing - we will discuss how to create cups and bowls. The goal of this class is to leave with an experience that brings you joy and ultimately a deeper appreciate to the craft. While this is an introduction to clay class, it is open to beginner and advanced makers. Open to ages 15 and up. This class is taught by owner and local potter, Alec Hoogland.

This is a 4 week course that will start on Wednesday Sept 4th and go to Sept 25th. Class time will be 6pm - 9pm. Payment is due in full before the start of class. There are 4 spots available.

The purchase of this class will provide you with one 12lb bag of red stoneware. Tool kits are to be purchased by the student before the start of class (We recommend the Kemper tool kit which can be purchase on Amazon or the local United Arts $ Education store). Once your works are made, we will fire them and glaze them before the end of the 4 weeks. 

Studio can be used outside of class hours during our open hours: Tue-Fri 11am-6pm and Saturday 11am-4pm.
