February 4th Wednesday Nights: Advanced Class (6 Weeks)

This class will be exploring advance wheel throwing and hand building techniques. We will discuss creating spouted and lidded forms, pitchers, and large forms. In addition to forms, we will explore surface decoration using slip, and mono printing. If there Is a group larger than 4, we will split the class Into groups. Open to ages 15 and up. This class is taught by owner and local potter, Alec Hoogland.

This is a 6 week course that will start on Wednesday February 4th and go to March 11th. Class time will be 6pm - 9pm. Payment is due in full before the start of class. There are 4 spots available.

The purchase of this class will provide you with one 15lb bag of red stoneware. Tool kits are to be purchased by the student before the start of class (We recommend the Kemper tool kit which can be purchase on Amazon or the local United Arts & Education store). Once your works are made, we will fire them and glaze them before the end of the 4 weeks. 

Studio can be used outside of class hours during our open hours: Tuesday 11am-6pm, Wednesday and Thursday 11am-9pm Friday 11am-6pm, and Saturday 11am-4pm.
