January 25th Mono-printing & Handles

Workshop taught by Alec Hoogland

This workshop is a one day look into enhancing surface decoration through the use of mono printing. This process is the use of underglaze and colored slips to transfer hand drawn images onto leather hard clay. In this class we will talk forms and inspiration. We will also discuss additional surface decorating techniques and making and attaching handles. 

The workshop will be Saturday January 25th from 2pm-4pm. Bring your sketchbooks to take notes and bring your questions!
