Pistachio Snackers

This show was created in collaboration between Justin Rothshank and Highland Studio and Gallery. It opens alongside the Super Bowl, the peak of the snacking season. We invited a select group of artists to share their interpretations of a Pistachio Snacker. Justin had this to say about the pistachio and the snackers:

Archaeological evidence shows that pistachio seeds were a common food as early as 6750 BCE. The earliest evidence of pistachio consumption goes back to the Bronze Age. I'm a huge fan of the pistachio, and in recent years have been enjoying creating pistachio bowls, a specifically designed bowl with 2 compartments, and a handle, to improve the pistachio eating experience.
